Missing one or more teeth doesn’t only affect the appearance of your smile — it also impacts jaw health, speech, and self-confidence. With dental implants, you can solve this problem permanently, safely, and aesthetically.

What are dental implants?

Dental implants are titanium screws placed into the jawbone to serve as artificial tooth roots. Crowns, bridges, or dentures are then placed on top, fully mimicking the natural look and function of real teeth. Titanium is a biocompatible material, meaning the body accepts it very well.

Who are implants suitable for?

Dental implants are ideal for patients who:

  • have lost one, several, or all of their teeth,
  • want a permanent and stable solution without removable dentures,
  • have healthy jawbone or are prepared for additional procedures (such as bone grafting),
  • want to restore the natural feeling of chewing and speaking.

At your first visit to our clinic, we will determine whether you are a candidate for implants using digital diagnostics.

What does the procedure look like?

At Dr Rakić Dental Clinic, all steps are carried out with maximum precision, comfort, and safety:

  1. Consultation and planning
We analyze the condition of your teeth and jaw in detail. Based on 3D scans and a clinical exam, we create a personalized treatment plan.
  2. Implant placement
The procedure is done under local anesthesia and is quick. After placement, the implant needs a few weeks to integrate with the bone (osseointegration process).
  3. Placement of abutment and crown
Once the implant is stable, an abutment (connector between the implant and crown) is placed, followed by a final aesthetic crown that fully resembles your natural tooth.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions patients ask us most often before starting treatment.

Does implant placement hurt?

No. The procedure is done under local anaesthesia and is short. Mild sensitivity or swelling for a few days afterwards is possible and easily managed with standard painkillers.

How long does the whole treatment take?

The implant needs to fuse with the bone (osseointegration), which usually takes from several weeks to a few months depending on bone quality. The abutment and final crown are placed after that.

Can I get implants if I don't have enough bone?

Often yes. When bone volume is insufficient, procedures such as bone grafting or a sinus lift are possible. We assess this at the first visit with a 3D scan.

How much do dental implants cost?

The price depends on the number of implants, bone condition and type of restoration. Send us an X-ray or come in for a check-up – you get a treatment plan and an exact price before treatment starts.
